Alyssa Kyria:
A Spark in the Dark

Come and see the first comedienne ever to attempt suicide on stage while singing ‘Bat Out of Hell’... underwater!

Welcome to the weird world of
Alyssa Kyria, peopled with the wackiest collection of bizzare, self-deluded oddballs and social misfits. If any of them sat next to you on a bus or struck up a conversation in the street... you’d run a mile.
What will you do when you’re trapped with them for an hour in a dark room? This is physical sketch comedy of the blackest kind - you’ll wake up screaming in the middle of the night!
Featuring:
Madame Bonjour: the French Jazz singer from Peckham who can’t speak French!
Shanequoi: the chav superstar with a message for Sharon Osbourne…
Lenora: the mentally abusive Australian life coach… she doesn’t allow tears in her office, you’re going to have to wipe that on your sleeve you dirty bitch…
Low Self Esteem Girl: she’s hired a hitman to kill …herself!
A country singer carrying her cousin’s baby, a racist who can’t swear, a Zimmer frame seduction, a cab driver with Gillian McKeith’s secrets… and many more!!

Alyssa Kyria is the sell out performer and co-deviser of the Edinburgh hits SHAKESPEARE FOR BREAKFAST (2005) and sell-out show ‘DUMPTRUCK LOVESHACK (2003). She is also creating a serious buzz on the London comedy circuit and going down a storm at Mirth Control, Madame Jo Jos and Amused Moose, to name a few.
She has also appeared on TV with Alistair Mcgowan in MAYO MURDERS.

‘Faultless material and comic timing!’
London Theatre Review
