As 2006 dawned Jim Bowes realised he was a man in decline. The last 10 years had been amazing but not entirely without their side effects. A lot had been achieved but somehow there was pretty much nothing to show for it. Jim knew he had to find a way of bucking the trend.

Soul searching, a bachelor pad, flat pack furniture and the memories of friends past and present consolidated themselves into the formula that had been behind all of Jim�s triumphs and would now be responsible for the renaissance of his life:

Then a man called Keith approached Jim in a toilet in Farnham and said he should take a show to Edinburgh. Jim tossed a coin and as it happened Keith was right.

1. Jim Bowes is a compere, writer and presenter from Reading in the UK. This is his first Edinburgh show. Actually he�d never performed comedy this time last year, maybe he still hasn�t. This show is entirely true and based on his approach to life.
