‘Seething with misanthropy. As slick as you’ll see in the country (List). Don’t expect Graham Norton. He’s as camp as Mel Gibson. Hilarious! (Scotsman). You’re an entertainer’ Johnny Vegas.

After a 6 year absence Lee Ness returns with what is sure to be this years best Stand Up show. Edinburgh born he heads home from his adopted Belfast where he's fulfilled his dream of becoming a restaurateur. Never being one to miss an opportunity and given his attendance being required at home to attend to a small miss understanding regarding a legal matter a show was born.

Coupled with Ness's no holes barred stand up is his highly rated culinary skills. I know who my moneys on in a fist fight with Gordon Ramsay. "Hoi, rage face. Did you call my Wellington a poof?"

This promises to be a show not to be missed!

Reviews
Lee Ness: "The Gay Bernard Manning" Edinburgh festival’ 2001
Four from five Star Review – The List Magazine ****

‘Billed as ‘the gay Bernard Manning’, local funny man Lee Ness is doing himself and injustice; he’s far wittier than that comic dinosaur, Battling against an early time slot for his first Festival appearance and a sparse crowd, Ness copes admirably by being offensive as hell, and berating everyone and everything he can possible think of including the audience
and himself.. Beneath a soft exterior, Ness is a seething pit of misanthropy, and his relentless aggressive attitude to the world is quite hilarious to behold. Never going for the most obvious gag, Ness has as slick a persona as you’ll see in the country, plus anyone who can still tell an original joke about Dando and Princess Di gets our vote. A MUST SEE. (Doug Johnstone - The List)

Don’t expect Graham Norton or Julian Clary, Lee Ness is as camp as Mel Gibson and twice as funny! (The Scotsman June 2003)

Wicker Wonder from a Comic Genius. A welcome change at the Mardi Gras.
(The Pink Paper September 2006)
